Ethan established Blackout in 2016 creating a brand built around quality barbering, attention to detail and client experience. 

Before creating the brand, Ethan started his journey in Glasgow at the Scottish School of Barbering before going on to work in a number of different barbershops gaining experience and developing his craft along the way.

Since opening Blackout Ethan has continued to refine his skills through numerous education days, workshops and seminars learning from some of the best barbers and educators in the industry. His work has been featured in industry magazines and he has also been recognised as a runner up in Scotlands Best Barber. 

10 years on, Blackout operates as a premium one chair private studio focusing on quality service in a personal relaxed environment.
